Some closeness has an expiry time, and it’s sunrise. A cold bedroom beat for the kind of intimacy that only exists in the dark.
3. 午前二時の嘘 — Lies at 2AM
Under a streetlight, in the rain, people say things they’d never say at noon. Not because they’re false — because they’re too true. This is the album’s 2am, and the reason this blog is called what it’s called.
4. 夜に溺れる — Drowning in the Night
The middle of the night, where time stops moving. A slow, submerged track for sinking into the dark and not really wanting to be saved.
5. 午前3時まだ君を待つ — Still Waiting at 3AM
A convenience store window, fluorescent light, a coffee going cold. Waiting past the point where waiting makes sense — the most J-pop heart in the album, wrapped in the coldest synths.
6. 最後のキスは嘘 — The Last Kiss Was a Lie
The goodbye that was gentle enough to be a lie. Red light under a door, a chorus that hurts more the prettier it gets.
7. 午前4時のリピート — 4AM on Repeat
An empty platform, the first train still hours away, the same song looping. The night doesn’t end — it just repeats until it fades.
