Behind the Track (4th Album) #6 — 怖いって言った (I Said I'm Scared)
The plan was to never say it. Show only the beautiful parts, let it end that way — honestly believed. Then came the night of realizing: I don’t want to be someone whose only skill is hiding. This track is the climax of all four albums.
The scene it came from
The voice shook and stopped halfway, and still it all got said — the past, the habit of running, everything laid on the table. The silence was long; only a heartbeat was audible. And the answer that came back was “I knew.” The only one hiding was me. The story that couldn’t be told in the 3rd album’s 言えなかった話 finally gets told here.
Sound notes
96 BPM, F minor. The album’s climax. The bass distorts for the first time in the series, and the pads are stacked thickest here — the pressure of a confession breaking out, rendered as sonic density. The “Here I am” chorus is sung from the spot where the wall comes down.
