Behind the Track (SHINYA CLUB 2nd) #6 — Let It Cool

The heart of the record, in the most literal sense — this is where you hear it beating.

The scene it came from

He sits down on cold concrete and lets the heat drain out through his back, shirt still stuck to his skin. The line that holds the album together is here: 「땀이 식을 때까지 여기 있자 / 일어설 이유는 아직 없다」. Not defeat, not victory — just no reason to stand yet.

The vending machine light reaches his feet but he gives up looking for coins; there are only keys and lint in his pocket. The first train sounds in the distance and he doesn’t get on. And the reason he won’t lie down is precise: 「한번 앉으면 / 오늘 밤이 끝나 버린다」.

This is not a song about overcoming anything. It’s a song about staying in the recovery.

Sound notes

One line

The album’s thesis, said out loud, sitting on the ground.
