Behind the Track (SHINYA CLUB 1st) #3 — Paper Cup Moon

Two tracks of loving objects, and then this: the first CLUB song aimed at an actual person. But it keeps the line’s grammar — the love is measured in cold fries, red ink on a hand, a paper cup on the dashboard standing in for the moon.
The scene it came from
A parked car, food going cold, nobody in a hurry to leave. The moon in this song is a chipped paper cup — about to spill, held up at the last second, and somehow better than the real one. Loving something because it’s about to spill is the most SHINYA CLUB feeling on the record.
Sound notes
128 BPM but softer: the bounce is padded with warm chords, and the bed-squeak triplets are swapped for a muted cowbell. The chorus stacks a second vocal a sixth below, so “take me there” lands like two people saying it at slightly different times.
One line
こぼれそう こぼれそう それでも 好きだ — it’s gonna spill, it’s gonna spill — and I love it anyway
Every love in this line is a paper cup. The song just says it out loud.
