Someone counting backwards from the breakup scene, rereading everything said today. A hand opening and closing the call log — afraid one call would end it all. Nothing has even started, and only the endings keep getting better. That state rides the fastest tempo on the record.
Sound notes
104 BPM, A minor. The fastest track on the album. Anxious, finely chopped hi-hats keep shoving the song forward — then cut out dead at the break. That sensation of the spiral in your head going suddenly silent. “Inside my head, I’m the one breaking me” lands right on top of that silence.
