One turn of phrase and the breath goes shallow; it isn’t even an angry voice, but it overlaps with someone from long ago. A slow reply is all it takes to start writing the worst sequel. The past is over — only its methods remain.

In the 3rd album’s 逃げる準備, the bag only got packed. This time they actually left the room — and turned back on the landing. Running is quick; returning is this slow. This track carries the series’ habit one step further along its slow repair.
Sound notes
92 BPM, B minor. Staccato percussion sprints and then cuts out dead — the rhythm of running footsteps stopping. It’s the same family of device as the hi-hat cut in the 3rd album’s 午前3時の最悪, but this time, after the cut, the footsteps that follow are the ones coming back.
