Behind the Track (5th Album) #8 — あなたの部屋で (In Your Room)
The album is titled 「誰かの部屋で」 — in someone’s room — but the last song is 「あなたの部屋で」 — in your room. 誰か becomes あなた. Past six strangers’ rooms, the room that remains at the end is the room of whoever is listening.
The scene
The only second-person song on the album. Tracks 1–7 each speak their own night; track 8 speaks to you. “Not even knowing which track this is, you listened all the way here. I don’t know your name or your face, but I know that you’re awake right now.” Then it names the seven rooms one by one and says: every one of them held someone truly awake tonight. So if you can’t sleep either — it isn’t yours to carry alone.
Sound notes
72 BPM, D Dorian — the same pulse as track 1. The thinnest arrangement on the album, and the outro is a cappella, every instrument gone. The opening signature 「深夜。まだ起きてる。」 is heard through a phone filter only in this song; as the track runs, the filter peels away, and in the last line the same words arrive right beside you. The album closes on the words that opened it.

This album doesn’t console. It only confirms that we’re awake at the same hour. “Goodnight” — and then the final line, the same as the first. 深夜。まだ起きてる。
