The scene it came from
A street after the last train has faded. Neon bleeding into rain-wet asphalt, and under a streetlight, people saying things they would never say at noon. The whole track started from one question: are the things we say at 2AM the lies — or are the things we say in daylight?
Sound notes
The intro sits on a real rain texture, with a synth flickering over it like a failing streetlight. The chorus is the loudest moment on the album, and it lands exactly on “嘘でもいいから” — even a lie will do. The loudest voice on the record is begging to be lied to. That irony is the design of the song.
One line
嘘でもいいから 「愛してる」って言って！ — Even a lie will do, so say “I love you”!
