Behind the Track (SHINYA AFTER 1st) #7 — Go, Then

The closer returns to exactly where track one stood, and the album becomes a closed loop.
The scene it came from
She hears him putting his shoes on with her back turned. The reason she doesn’t look is not strength: 「보면 아마 / 붙잡아 버린다 / 그것만은 안 한다」.
The pre-chorus is the most adult position on the record: 「붙잡을 말은 / 갖고는 있다 / 안 쓸 뿐」. She isn’t out of words. She has them. She’s declining to use them.
The door closes without a sound, and the observation lands cold: 「그런 사람이었다 / 처음부터 쭉」. What remains is the lightened back of the chair — meaning the coat from track five is gone.
Then the bridge walks back into track one: 「また 青い時間 / 一人分の 部屋 / 朝が 来る / それだけ」.
Sound notes
The drums drop away again, returning to the position track one held. The Rhodes and sub-bass are all that’s left, and the harmony thins one layer at a time until a single voice remains.
One line
引き止める 言葉は / 持っては いる / 使わない だけ — the words that would stop you / I do have them / I just will not use them
Track 1 and track 7 both have no drums. Between them the 808 enters at 2 and is closest at 4. The album starts in the blue hour and ends in the blue hour — played on repeat, the seam is invisible, because the end of 7 and the front of 1 are the same silence.
